Career Change

Thinking, Thinking and Thinking

Is it time for a change

2014 will be my 7th year in my present company, it's been too long. No regrets I am happy with my boss and my colleagues, but I have to think my finances since Little Kulit will be going to a formal school this June.

My expenses is growing, nasabayan pa ng new tax low which my increase in salary napunta lang sa taxes. imagine that I am paying more than 5k for tax.

January when I decided to update my resume and jobstreet.

Am I ready for a new career change? New company? New boss?

Honestly, I am looking for a new job because I want to know what is my price worth now a days and I want to earn more. The good thing is during my phone interview when they asked what is my asking and I would answer them back and they will say we can give you more than that. Wow imagine I am already 30++ but I still have worth and I am always candidate for a shortlist.

I have been working for 14 years already, and I have so many exposures, that is why I believe that I can compete with a fresh grad and to a more experience people.

Which career fits me?

Since January 25 after 3 days of jobstreet application I received numerous call if I want to have an interview. During my single days go ng go every invitation now I am more conscious I will ask them the following question first;
  1.   For what position- at least hindi masayang pareho time namin. Some companies kasi iba naka  post advertisement iba sa actual.
  2. What is your office schedule- I do not like to work during Saturdays
  3. Is it for regular position- I need to secure my future
  4. Salary and benefits- eto ang importante :-)
Oh diba straight na kung straight sayang ang toll and gas :-)

Looking for a brighter future and success

God's Write Our Love Story

Do you believe that God write our Love Story?

Yes I do believe in that, God will give us a better man, He will give us the best not the one who your dreaming of.

When I was a kid, I asked my Mom if someday I will get married, she said yes as long as you pray and God will give you. I asked God to give me a lifetime partner that I could talk too under the sun, who will love me unconditionally, who will accept who I am and for who I am not. I never ask God to give me a hunky handsome husband or super rich or anything material, I just asked someone who will love me and my family.

Of course, I also experience heartbreaks wala naman siguro tao na hindi na heart broken noh, but God is really good he really give us the best after all the heartaches.

Hubby is also not perfect we have petty quarrel, major arguments but that is normal and that make our relationship stronger, importante you must know how to handle the situation, just say sorry if you are wrong, and how to do make up after the quarrel.

How did God wrote my Love Story?
I used my single years thinking what I want do in my life, study, working, going out with family and friends.
Time come, when I realized that I need someone to be with me for a lifetime. Back  of my mind dreaming of a prince charming that everyone dreams, but I have to face the reality that there is no perfect prince charming.  I have to pray that God will give me a person that who will love me unconditionally. I keep on praying, I had several heart aches, I even questioned God, why?.
In 2006 He gave me Sherwin, of course it's not easy to have a fairy tale love affair, we have been through a lot in our first year. But God is good He just let us experience the worst before the best come along.
In 2007 as we celebrate our first year anniversary in Tagaytay we come across the Tierra De Maria, we prayed that our relationship will last and to have a happy ending.
In 2008 I asked God if Sherwin is the one, please show me a sign and if puwede Sept 19,2009 ang wedding namin :-). Siyempre ang wedding sidedish lang yun he he he.

But guess what after our Palawan trip to celebrate Valentines and our early celebration of our Third year anniversary, we finally agreed to have our wedding this year. Bahala na daw ako sa date and all the details. Since I prayed for Sept 19,2009 lahat okay, I tried to change the date for Oct 18,2009 pero lahat hindi puwede even the church. So finally set for 9.19.09.

February 2010 when I learned that I am 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant, Oct 10,2010 when we become official parents to our Little Kulit.

And now 2014 we are going to celebrate our 8 years together and 5 years as a married couple. God still give us trials to make our relationship stronger and we thanked Him for keeping us together and in all his blessings.

I just want to share you this verse
Ephesians 5:22-33

22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[a] her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”[b] 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Let God write our Love story, just pray and have faith that He will give the best.

New Year 2013

Happy Happy Happy New Year everyone :-)

Every New Year is a blessing for us, we thanked God for everything that He gave us not just only the blessings but also for the trials that we have been through. Trials make us more stronger, strengthen our faith.

Our holidays is not the same as before, this year our dearest lola passed away last September our reunion as not happy as before you will really feel something is missing. Last June my tita and cousins went to US for good. sila lagi namin kasama during holidays since I was a kid. But that is the reality nothing is permanent in this world except CHANGE.

Nag effort me for New Years eve celebration, last year kasi (2012) super ngarag kami sa Campaign period we are not able to celebrate it well as in rush lahat imagine nakalimutan ang ground beef for spaghetti so ang ending pansit bihon. So ngayon I really make it appoint na everything will be okay kahit may sakit ako I still manage to do grocery and buy some stuffs.

Let's start with the decorations, since Little Kulit is now a "little man" halos alam na niya lahat. We told him that we have a party, ang party sa kanya ay may balloons and cake, when he saw the balloon he keeps on shouting " Yehey party balloons"

Lack of time, I bought the decors at Festival Mall, Party Celebrations

Napkins at Landmark, washi tape from divisoria

I also put one table for My Little Kulit sweet corner, we have Contis cake, egg pie from Goldilocks, popcorn, chestnut and chocolates

We also follow the tradition that you need to have 13 rounded fruits in your table.

And of course the fireworks, hindi kami nawawalan ng Judas belt, sabi nga nila dapat maingay para mawala negative vibes. Praying and wishing for a better 2014

My Little Kulit is so scared, ayaw niya ng sounds he keeps on crying, Mommy told him to cover his ears na lang
Hubby and I welcome 2014 with the picture :-)

At 12:25 tumahimik na ang street namin sa fireworks, it's time to eat na. We have simple media noche spaghetti, palabok, lumpia shanghai, siomai, puto, barbecue, sausage, ham and hotdog

Our 2014 starts with the prayer with the whole family.

Happy New Year Everyone from us

What to Expect in Pregnancy

Every woman ultimate dream is to have her own child, but getting pregnant is not that easy at all, I think lucky lang talaga ang mga honeymoon babies. That is why having a child is really a precious moment .

Trying for a baby isn’t always that easy. Most of the times a lot couples get confused about the best times for ovulation and getting pregnant. In my case, it would not be easy since both of my ovaries is polycystic. I know from the start that I will be having a hard time to ovulate, thanked God that after 2 months of medications I got pregnant na. And lucky I just have oral medicines lang no blood test,no injections etc. I really believed that God gave me the precious gift, a gift that I really prayed for.

Having a baby is a different experience, it depends on how your body will react, aba grabe sa hormonal changes ha, and you really do change physically

How do I prepare;

1. Schedule visit to my OB
2. Avoid coffee, alcohol, raw  or uncooked meat, uncooked egg and chocolates
3. Since I have PCOS, I strictly follow my medicine metformin and folic acid.
3. Eat healthy foods
4. Fertility check

This is the four steps that I followed and after a month I learned that I am already 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant. After two weeks my heartbeat na si baby, but I also learned that I have a subchorionic hemorrhage,  I was advised by my OB to have a two weeks bed rest.
I had an easy pregnancy, no morning sickness, I can still work, I'm still driving until my 34th weeks.

On my 6th months when we learned that we are having a baby boy. I started to create my own birth plan and check list. Sabi nga nila don't accept or buy anything for your baby until you reach your 6th months. Wala naman masama sumunod sa pamahiin :-).

Seventh month when I had my 4D ultrasound, and look he is certified look a like mommy

And the day that we have been waiting for, I gave birth on my 38th weeks by an emergency CS

Pregnancy and having a baby will take a lot of planning and preparation. There will be also a lot of lifestyle changes required for a healthy and safe pregnancy. This will also involve emotional and physical changes. But I will assure everything is worth it when you see your little angel.

Mommy Anna at Laiya Virgin Beach Resort

We love beach, since childhood every summer dapat may beach time talaga, preggy na me before and I'm supposed to be in bed rest go pa din sa beach.

When I was a kid okay na sakin kahit anong beach basta may water and sand, but when I visited Puerto Gallera, Panglao, Pagudpod and Bora hanap ko na white sand he he he of course nothing beats Boracay talaga.

Evey year we go to Laiya, before expensive ang day tour sa Virgin Beach  resort its Php1000+++ per head now you can avail for Php300 entrance fee and you can bring the food na, dining parasol good for 12 persons is Php 1300 you can check here

From Alabang to Laiya will take 3hours, habang sa car picture picture

We arrive at Virgin Beach Resort 8:30am, si Sam hinihila na agad ako sa beach, "Mommy beach beach please", I told him that we need to pay first, kulit pa din mga bata nga naman

At the Reception
After we pay the bills, we check the beach agad super nice malinaw water, super clean din ang sand, super relax ang ambiance here

The Beach

The Beach

The Sand

Time to swim na, my son meet his new friends

We really had fun, sarap talaga mag swim lalo na pag super hot hot :-) The place is so okay highly recommended, even the CR is so nice may  separate area for shower, fitting room, cr cubicle and there is also a locker, and the good thing it's always clean. Sayang I wast not able to take a pic. Even the dining parasols are not crowded, malaki space in between so hindi ka matatakot na mawalan ka things. Each dining parasols may trash can and ihawan. And what is the best no vendors allowed as in wala. You really feel safe in this area and it's quiet. Next time will spend an over night stay here for sure mag enjoy din kami.

At the end of the day, kahit malayo we are super satisfied in this trip we left here 6pm na ang ending bagsak ang baby ko :-)
