This August 9, Working Mom magazine is bringing moms and kids a fun and magical shopping experience like no other as it launches the All About Kids bazaar at the Rockwell Tent.
All About Kids bazaar will offer that perfect dose of family fun, with big, big discounts to boot. Apart from games and demos for all kids to enjoy with their families, parents can dig into all their favorite kiddie brands as they go on sale.
Apart from all these, the All About Kids bazaar, which will be hosted by Jackie Lou Blanco, will have an arts and crafts booth, magic shows, bubble tricks, balloon twisters, and other amazing performances. Even a mom and kid pampering booth will be set up to give moms on the go that perfect chance to slow down with their loved ones. Apart from all these, kids will get the unique chance of meeting two of their favorite cartoon characters, SpongebobSquarepants and Patrick Star!
This year’s All About Kids bazaar will also be where Working Mom will hold an online photo promo. To join, simply visit and like Working Mom’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/workingmom.magazine), take a photo during the event, and tag Working Mom with the hashtags #workingmommag and #allaboutkids. All this and more will be happening on August 9 at the Rockwell Tent from 11:00am to 7:00pm. To enter, each family must simply present a copy of Working Mom’s latest August issue, which is available at leading bookstores and magazine stands nationwide.

My Little Kulit and His Pretty Girl

They met during their summer class last April and they become close, my Little Kulit used to call her Pretty Girl, two weeks after when dad told us her name is Bella.

They play first before classes start and they went home together. Yan ang everyday routine nila sa school, Two days before mag end ang summer class Little Kulit gifted Bella a hello kitty kaleidoscope.

This is their picture during culminating activity

My Little Kulit was accelerated from junior casa to senior casa so hindi na sila classmates, he even asked Bella to his teachers during his first day in class.

Three days before the program my dad teased him that he is going to see Bella again, ayun nagliwanag ang eyes ng baby ko.

After two months they finally meet again, at first they are both shy but afterwards ayun ayaw na maghiwalay. Kami na lang naiwan sa room.

Look at them how happy they are :-)

Hope they will be friends forever

Nutrition Month and Punishment

Last Friday hubby and I took a leave from work to attend our Little Kulit school program about nutrition month. Program was already delayed because of the typhoon Glenda.

The program is composed of puppet making, cooking demo and dance number from junior to advance casa. I asked hubby to do the puppet since I don’t know how to do it, I don’t have any artistic side talaga. This is the finish product of our puppet; it’s made of radish and broccoli.

Here are some puppets made by other parents/students

As an excited parents we are already on school 15 minutes before the program will start, at first Little Kulit is so playful but when the program begins ayun na nagstart na ang drama effect. He doesn’t want to sit beside his classmates, ayaw na din mag dance. Ang ending when they are about to dance lahat sumakit na sa kanya, he is tummy aching daw, his head, he is sleepy na daw as in lahat ng palusot nagawa na.

As his punishment I told him NO IPHONE, NO TABLET, NO MALL, and NO TV for two days. I explained it to him why he needs to be punished, at first he was hesitant to follow but afterwards he understands na why he needs to follow.

It’s also an accomplishment for me to stay firm on my decision, seeing my son being punished is also hard but I have to do it or else he will not learn :-)
