Weekend Birthday

It’s my dad and sister birthday last Sunday and as per special request of my dad that he wants paella we decided to have a lunch buffet at Dad’s.

I asked my sister to have a reservation since it falls on Sunday and as part of their promo we can avail for free the buffet for our two birthday celebrant and a 50 percent off for my mom. 

We arrived at 11:45 am it’s a rainy Sunday, we are expecting that :-) ever since my sister was born it’s always raining minsan nga typhoon pa or the Mt. Pinatubo eruption. Its part of their celebration, the rain is always invited that is why my sister and dad is always blessed.

We avail the crossover buffet which cost Php 888.00 per person; we can have the Kamayan, Saisaki and Dad’s.

The foods are great except for their pastries, but overall experience we had a great time.

My sister had a table hopping ha ha ha feel na feel niya ang birthday niya.

Guess why they are smiling???? ha ha ha

After lunch we had coffee at Starbucks, my sister saw a lot of "SALE", "50 percent-70% off in Greenbelt, na magnet pag may sale. She told me that she will just roam around after 30 minutes I received a text from her that she is in XOXO and we need to pay her purchases. Hays ang mga bunso naman :-)

Do you know the feeling when you are going home and thinking that you still have to attend the needs of your family?

Lately I am always home at late night, but still I need to fulfill my mommy and wifey duties. That is life of a working mom. No matter how tired I am

Last night before going home, I need to pass by in Festival Mall I need to change the size of My Little Kulit’s jogging pants and t shirt, I need to pay our telephone bills, need to buy his milk, his baon and to do some groceries. No matter that I had a long day at the office and I am super sleepy.

Since that is Little Kulit is now in preschool, when I got home y first stop was to check his bag and his diary. If books are not included in his bag he has no assignments. In their school they can leave their things, they can only bring their diary.

Last night he had two work books one in math and one in writing, I asked his dad to teach him in colors and I will be the one to teach him in Math. While browsing his workbooks, this is what I saw. No matter how tired I am seeing my son’s work is worth it. He is really good come to think of it his classmates are older than him and they went to Junior casa while my son straight to senior casa after a month of summer class.

No matter how my day ended at the office, No matter how much negative vibes that I absorb, No matter how hungry I am, No matter how tired I am, No matter how sleepy I am. The good thing is that I have a son and a family waiting for me to be home that always has a positive thing to look for.

One Fun Night Bridal Shower

Last Friday we had a bridal shower for our dear office mate. As usual it’s my duty to find a place and to organize :-) buti na lang during my bridal shower they surprised me and we had a great time.

Since we are located in Laguna and the bride to be is coming along the way from Bay Laguna, it’s a challenge for me to look for a place that suit on our budget but the same time we can have a great time. There are lots of options, KTV, Private Pool, Night swimming etc but I need to be practical instead of renting a place for 6k, I rather spend that for a food.

We ended up at Max’s Restaurant Pavilion Branch, they are so accommodating even a short of notice, I inquired Tuesday night, ocular Wednesday lunch and had a reservation and we are all set for Friday night event.

You can rent one of their function rooms as low as Php 5000.00 consumable of foods and drinks, I even told them that we are going to have a bridal shower and they even say yes with all our plans. I really recommend this place they are so helpful, attentive, accommodating on our entire request, they are always on smile. Kahit sobrang ingay naming come to think of it malapit kami sa dining area :-)

I ordered full package C half package B extra kare kare extra pancit canton, crispy pata, three pitcher of ice tea and 4 extra buko pandan for Php 8266.00 only. Good for 20 person, 2 hours use of function room., it's a good deal.

What is the essence of bridal shower without the show :-) this is the exciting part in every bridal shower. Next time I will share my own bridal shower :-).
