Dinner Time a Family Time

I super duper like the commercial of lucky mee about the importance of dinner with the whole family.

I grew up with the family that always eat dinner together especially on weekends and holidays we eat together from breakfast to dinner may midnight snacks pa yan. Dinner is our kuwentuhan time, kaya we become close. I want my little kulit to grow up like us, to know the importance of having a family. 

After the long hours in school and office, we have to see to it that we have time for a family dinner. Family dinner hour is an important part of our life. 

Here are some reason why FAMILY DINNER IS IMPORTANT

1.Bonding Time- This is the time that family can hang out together and communicate. Families who eat dinner regularly are more likely to have stronger and happier family relationships.

2. Time for Updates- it is time to update on what is happening to everybody,each member of the family can update what is happening on there work, school, friends and more.

3. Keep Kids Out of Trouble- kids who lives in families that eat together are less likely to be involved in a risk behaviors.

4. No conflicts at home- A regular family dinner time, can help the families to talk and to resolve any family issues. There will be a less stress and tension at home

5. Educate Your Kids- kids who are exposed to regular family discussion times learn a broader vocabulary.

6. Healthy for the whole family- when kids eat with their families they can eat better

7. Everyone eats healthier meals

Sam: No, ayaw school, ayaw study
Lola: No school, no sm, no shopwise, no ball

Lolo: Sam you need to go to school, hindi habang buhay nandito ako
Sam: Sama me lolo, kahit saan
Lolo: No you cannot come
Sam: Cholo and Sam forever

Hays may nakita lang siya na binili ko na bago shoes. Sam favorite line "buy tayo"

Mommy: Lolo has no sugat, and stick notes yan hindi band aid

September our Love Month

My love month is February and September, February when we became a couple it was February 27,2006 to be exact after three years we decided to get married and it will be our second love month. 

It was year 2008 when I asked for a sign if Sherwin will be my forever partner in life, ang wish ko that time if September 19,2009 ang magiging wedding namin he will be my forever partner. Actually 2007 pa lang he proposed na but that time madaming kontra sa earth, year 2008 everyone wants us to get married but that time I am not emotionally ready, kaya I asked for a sign.

February 2009 when we celebrated our valentines and pre third year anniversary at Palawan with our friends, we really had a great time there. Sa Palawan uso ang mga albularyo and iba pa na madami alam, we across with one of the old man and he said you will get married by this year. We just smile at him and we both said we hope so, by that time we are still saving for our future, we know that we still don't have enough. But at the end of the month unexpected money came,God answered our prayer.

For two years, every first Saturday nagpupunta kami sa Tierra De Maria at Tagaytay, I keep on praying if I will get married someday I want it to be 9-19-09, basta gusto ko ang date na yan, and another wish was granted by Tierra De Maria.

We are trying to change the date for the wedding may mga nagpapahintay kasi, but every time ibang date madaming problem sa supplier sa church and etc. So we stick on the date that I really want. Maybe God telling me "eto pinag pray mo tapos pinapalitan mo".

And our wedding anniversary is September 19,2009 and we are going four years :-) and still counting.

For the month of September I will share my happiest moments in my life "my wedding" and some ways for a happy marriage

Welcome Ber Monts

For Filipinos, we celebrate Christmas countdown as early as September :-) parang ang bilis ng araw once "BER months" na. 

Welcome BER months, my favorite months September is our wedding anniversary month, October when I gave birth to my little kulit, November my shopping spree for Christmas, and December it's my birthday, my parents wedding anniversary, Barkada Christmas party, reunions and of course it's Christmas and New Years month.

My Little Kulit Emo time

Last Friday, tumawag me sa house to check Sam he usually answer the phone na;

Sam: Hello (sounds lonely and crying)
Me: Are you crying
Sam: Yes
Me: Why what happen
Sam: "Lolo"
Me: Why is lolo sleeping, how about lola
Sam: No (he mentioned something na I dont understand)
Me: Napagalitan ka ba, Is lolo mad
Sam: Yes (sounds crying again as in hikbi)
Lola: Give me the phone Sam
Me: Why mommy, nagsusumbong si kulit, umiiyak
Lola: Napagalitan kasi lolo niya, he is not crying drama lang. Tinatawag na lolo niya ayaw pumunta. 

Aba, he is going 3 pa lang marunong na mag emote. As per mama and his ate gloria with matching action pa na hawak head niya, nakayuko and kunwari umiiyak.

Mga bata nga naman marunong na mag emote :-)

 

Where is Daddy????

Now I know totoo pala napapanood ko sa movies, na maghahanap pala talaga ang bata ng dadddy or mommy,it's hard to answer and masakit pala talga.Eto ang challenging question for me :-(

 In my situation easy lang naman nag answer his daddy is working late and sometimes even on week ends he needs to work, pero iba pa din feeling once he asked me "where is daddy?" The first time he asked me was last year, my brother and his family nasa house for a week, it was Sunday after our church service we are having lunch, when he asked me "mommy where is daddy", I simply answered "his at work baby", but I can see the sadness in his face. Maybe he was wondering why yung cousin niya kasama ang daddy. And that's the time that I realized what if wala siya daddy or working abroad maybe it's more difficult to answer. 

Imagine my little kulit, wala pa two by that time he asked me that question, in his young age he can think na there is something missing in his life. Kaya pala iba kahit malaki na they will still look and ask for there parents.
 
I salute single parents, ofw wife how they were able to survive this challenge question, how they answer there kids yung alam mo na hindi sila ma hurt or magiisip, they will not compare themselves sa iba. 

Don't worry little kulit daddy will try his best to be go home early on weekdays, at least now he is rest day on weekends
