Mommy Anna Experience The GoodBox PH Meals

Healthy eating and a strict diet has never been easy for me especially I don’t eat vegetables and I am not fan of dieting. Ever since I have a chubby figure, which I still consider myself as a sexy one, people who are close to me use to call me “Anna sexy”.

My dad who keeps on telling me to have a healthy living, to eat vegetables, to exercise and be on diet as a person like me who is close minded and happy who I am, it is hard for me  to convince to be on diet.

Now that I am a mom, I realized that I need to be healthy for my son, I need to try to eat some healthy food, good thing I was one of the lucky mommy bloggers who were given a chance to have a one day experience of 1200kcalorie meal for one day from The GoodBox PH .

Last week I received one day full meal from The GoodBox PH, here is my complete meal for the next day.

For my breakfast I had Mixed Vegetables and Cheese Sandwich, coffee and a fruit. I just had a hard time to finish my sandwich since it has vegetables but the coffee taste good same with the fruits. I don’t know if psychological or I am just busy that morning, I don’t feel that I am starving in the next hours. It’s late for me to realize that I have Fresh Smoothie for my am snack.

Well it’s okay I have a late lunch, for my lunch I have Nutty Chicken Penne and a salad, which really taste good and this is my favorite meal

For my PM snack I just had Oat cookies, which makes me hungry but still I need to be focus and just eat this one

And lastly for my dinner I had Tofu Tacos, vegetable sticks with dip. The veggie sticks with a dip taste good, the tofu tacos is just okay since I love tofu if it is fried.

Overall experience, I am happy what I had and happy that I was able to survive with my 1200 calories meal for one day. I just need to practice how to eat veggies.

How to Repair Broken Makeup from a Compact

In the middle of my busy day last Monday I accidentally drop my maybeline compact, I knew it’s already cracked since I experienced same incident last year.

Good thing I was able to watch in youtube few months ago how to repair a broken make up, you can watch it here

I immediately look for the things that I need to repair my compact, you need to have an alcohol, spatula or stirrer and a plastic.

Just follow these simple steps;
1.    Gather all of the broken pieces of makeup into its original container,

2.     Add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to the compact, and let it soak in. Use spatula or stirrer, mine I used my finger to rub and smooth down the makeup.

3.    Once your makeup is all smooth again, all you have to do is wait and have it dry.

Now I am still using the same compact J you can also use this steps for your broken blush, bronzer or eye shadow

How to be A Productive Mom on Weekends

As a working mom you have a lot of things do but you just have a little time as much as possible we really need to manage and maximize our time.

If you are a working mom, your job will not stop in your office, when you got home there is another one waiting for you, and on weekends my job is to be a full time mom and housewife.

I was not able to update my blog for a long time since I have a little time in my busy world.

Let me give you random things that I have done in the past few weeks;

1.     My weekly grocery
2.     Need to attend My Little Kulit school program
3.     Need to review My Little Kulit for his two days Long quiz
4.    Change curtains
5.     General cleaning
6.    Family Gathering
7.     Events
8.    Arrange closet and toys
9.    Spend quality time with hubby
10.  Manage small business
11.   Stocky inventory
12.   Hair rebond and treatment
13.   Office activity
14.  Out of town
15.   Sunday mass

As far as I remember yan mga yan but may mga side errands pa yan, well time management is very important and FOCUS on our daily task

Here are some tips how to be a productive  mom on weekends, which I learned from my own experience :-)

1.     Plan ahead of time- if you are planning to have a weekend out of town with your family, plan ahead of time.  Make an itinerary for your convenience.

2.     Schedule- Stick on your schedule, if you have a calendar in your office, you also need to have a family calendar, so that you can maximize your mommy duties. Plot your schedule accordingly. As much as possible if you can bring your kid with in your errands is much better, so you can spend quality  time with them

3.     Quality time with your kids- as much as possible think an activity that you can spend  time together. Or just have a mommy date. For us once a month or twice a month I make it assure that we must have a mommy and cham cham date.

4.    Make a list or a goal- Have a list or a goal for your family. Writing down our goal helps us to have something what we are working for.

5.     Go on a date with your partner- This is so important especially if you already have kids. You need to have time to your partner also and give them importance. Time away from the kids is good in your relationship.

6.    Me time- Time for yourself is important as well. Sometimes we as moms forget to take care of ourselves because we are taking care of the kids, manage the house, taking care of hubby, and office work all day. It's important to set aside time for yourself, you need to re charge your energy.

Let me end my post with this quote

Breastfeeding: A Journey Worth Taking

Lovely Mommies good news, Ms. Teresa Gumap-as Dumadag is giving a FREE DOWNLOAD of her new ebook BREASTFEEDING: A Journey Worth Taking on Amazon today August 1 to August 3, 2014 :-)

Inspirational author and breastfeeding advocate makes her newly released breastfeeding book on Amazon available for free download at the start of World Breastfeeding Week 2014 to help moms worldwide achieve their breastfeeding goals.
MANILA, Philippines – August 1, 2014 – Inspirational author and breastfeeding advocate Teresa Gumap-as Dumadag makes her newly-released eBook BREASTFEEDING: A Journey Worth Taking available for free download on Amazon Kindle from August 1–3, 2014.

The author features stories of triumph over breastfeeding challenges by moms from different walks of life — stay-at-home moms, work-at-home moms, moms working outside the home and mompreneurs — on top of telling her own breastfeeding success story. She happily achieved her personal goal of breastfeeding both of her sons for at least two years each despite the numerous challenges she encountered.
World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year from August 1–7 and the theme for this year is Breastfeeding: A Winning Goal for Life! The author scheduled this three-day giveaway of her eBook to coincide with the start of World Breastfeeding Week as her way of helping moms all over the world achieve their personal breastfeeding goals. She believes that breastfeeding will enable families, not just moms and babies, to reap a lifetime of health benefits.

Having read the book, Joyce Martinez says, “Breastfeeding: A Journey Worth Taking by Teresa Gumap-as Dumadag has a holistic view. More than the basic principles, it is a spiritually-driven breastfeeding book! She draws inspiration from her spiritual beliefs, and to me that is a salient ingredient for the success of most nursing mothers. I salute her for passing the culture of success from one mom to another through this book!” Martinez is a Certified Lactation Counselor by the USA Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice. She’s a Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing and Major in Maternal and Child Health. Currently, she is Medela Moms Inc.’s In-House Lactation Counselor. She used to be Lactation Nurse Manager at St. Luke’s Medical Center’s Lactation Unit in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The author herself says, “At first I didn’t understand why I had to go through a lot of tests or challenges in my breastfeeding journey, especially with my eldest son. Looking back however, I realized that God allowed me to experience those tests because He eventually used my passing of those tests to become my testimony to inspire and empower other moms.”

Amazon Prime members can download BREASTFEEDING: A Journey Worth Taking for free even after the three-day promotion. Regular Amazon.com customers can purchase the eBook for $9.99 after August 3. The paperback edition can be purchased through the book’s Facebook Page or by sending an email to teresa@fulllifecube.com.
