To be honest, I am not good in financial alam ko lang puro palabas :-). 2009-mid 2012 wala me ka problem problem when it comes to finances. 2013 is really not a good year to me well ilang tulog na lang and the nightmare will end. 

And so I came up with this to track my budget and finances, hope I can do this, crossing my fingers.

Donate a Blood

Two weeks ago, we are all stressed sa work because we need to find a blood donor for my boss, nagka dengue kasi and her blood platelets went down for 11 na lang. Super hirap hanapin blood it's O-, as per research only one percent of Filipino ang may O-.

My Groceries List Versus Actual

Challenge for me if I can stick on my budget and my groceries list last Friday, my budget is Php 2000.00 only.

When I arrived at Shopwise Festival eto na ang bumungad sa akin good luck to me :-)

 And after 45 minutes here is my shopping cart in fairness konti lang nadagdag sa list ko, crossing my fingers that I will stick on my budget, konti lang extra na dala ko na cash

 It's first time na 200 plus lang ang sobra before pinakamababa na sobra is 850, yehey congratz talaga

I love to shop, like na like ko grocery, when I go to grocery I ended up paying too much kahit may list pa kung ano kasi madaanan ko at feeling ko okay get agad.

Now I will try to stick on my list and budget  :-)

TBT: My Little Kulit Moments with Lola Lola

My Little Kulit moments with her Lola Lola, he is the only great grand children lang who calls her "lola lola". We are lucky that Sam has a lot of memories with her, hope na ma remember niya. Lola was able to carry Sam when he was two weeks old, and kasama namin Lola to celebrate with us during Sam's baptismal and first birthday.

Ang last kulitan nila, Sam will pretend to cook a fried chicken and isusubo niya sa lola lola niya, and he is begging his lola lola na to join him in shopwise or SM, his last pakitang gilas was to count lola lola's fingers. Without knowing that will be the last one.

How to Explain Death to a Toddler

When my dearest Lola passed away last week, after my one hour of crying, update status at my fb,chat with my cousins and relatives sa nangyari the second thing to do is to explain with my little kulit what happen to his Lola lola. Ayaw pa naman niya may nakikita na umiiyak siya lang ang may karapatan umiyak.

When a loved one dies, it can be a difficult how to explain with the toddlers/kids the loss. Death of a loved one is a difficult concept for kids/toddlers to understand. Helping a child cope with death requires a lot of love, patience and time.

Here are some steps that I want to share how to explain with our kids about death;

1. Tell them what happened- Don't give them the specific details, there is no need to scare them.

2.Tell them that they are in better place- there is no correct answer for this, just say what you think is better and stand for it. 

3. Always stress that, a loved one is always in their heart.

4. Be patience and consistent with answers if a kid ask the same question over and over.

5. Help a kid to understand that a loved is not going to come back.

6. Be careful about saying that someone died because he/ she was old. He/she may become fearful in growing old.

7. Let's show our love all the time with our kids.

Weekend Sadness

Busyness and sadness weekend, last Saturday was the last day of lamay of my dearest lola, sabi nga nila pag may patay it's also a reunion. Saturday is a full blast of visitors from our family and friends as in puno ang room despite of the weather and traffic. Most of the visitors came from North travel period is 3 hours, one of our visitors came from Pampanga 10 hours lang naman inabot niya sa sobrang traffic. It is overwhelming, seeing these people how much they love my lola.

Sunday was her burial, super lakas ng ulan. Hirap explain kay Sam that her lola lola was already gone, sabi ko kasi tulog lang. When I asked him to say good bye he said "Bye lola lola, lab you". And the time na binababa na casket, he said "why laglag lola lola, wawa cya, get natin". Hay anak kung ganyan lang sana kasimple ang buhay.

Lola Naty has 11 childrens, and 32 grand childrens plus so many great grand childrens, lahat ng apo niya naalagaan niya and each one of us has special moment with her.

I am lucky na she was able to carry Sam when he was still a baby at magaan pa siya. And madami pa sila pinagsamahan, Lola was with us to celebrate his baptismal, first birthday, our reunion and many events pa. Sam makes his lola laugh all the time. 

I don't have any regrets when Lola died, alam ko kasi na I always have time for her, kahit pagod na kmi every weekend we still visit her. The last time that I saw her was September 9, I can still remember how she smiled at me and makes kuwento, and hinatid pa niya kami sa labas. Hindi ko alam that will be the last kiss, hug, chika time namin mag lola. I love you so much Lola

4th year Wedding Anniversary+Grieving

It's our 4th wedding anniversary today, we suppose to have a date and weekend escapade with our family. But all are postpone because my dearest lola passed away. She is big loss in our family. Hindi naman kami magiging happy if we still continue our plans.

We will celebrate next week na lang

 Pinagawa dress ni Lola for my wedding, I did no realize that this dress din gagamitin for her funeral.

Super sad :-(

Sadness Tuesday

Super sadness Tuesday, since morning we are so stress sa work because we need to find a O- blood donor for our boss, she has dengue. Napaka hirap ng blood niya natawagan ko na lahat red cross, hospital and philippine army, wala sila stock.

And then another sadness happened, my dearest Lola Naty passed away around 530 to 6pm, I'm so shocked at sad, the last time that I visited her was last week and she is so lively and happy. She is just complaining her eyes malabo na daw and nagluluha. But nothing serious, We even decided that we will go to SM.

I super duper love my lola, she is the one who take good care of me when I was a kid and up to now, she spoiled me a lot , I'm so lucky that she was able to see my son and nakarga pa niya. Sam is also one of the happiness ni Lola. 

My lola nagturo sakin how to have a simple life, be happy and contented and always be thankful. Siya nagturo sakin how to eat mangang hilaw with bagoong.

I love you so much, we love you so much. You will be forever in my heart.

As a mom we will do anything to protect our kids, especially now a days kids are so active and hyper. One of my greatest fear is the insect bites, even I have a boy, I don't like him to have an insect bite on his skin.

I have a sensitive skin, and namana sakin ni baby so we are so careful sa lahat ng gagamitin niya. Like me, insect bites last long sa skin niya hirap tangalin. My dad is super excited to have his first grand child, nung nalaman ng preggy ako ayun he is so tutok when it comes to my pregnancy. He is the substitute na kasama ko sa check up if hubby is not around. As expected the first grand child is super spoiled, he is  so patience when it comes to my little kulit siya ang nagpapakain, nagpapaligo and dakila na nag spoiled.

Eh anu nga ba magagawa ko, sabi nga nila mas mahal daw tubo sa puhunan. So sila ang lagi mag kakampi :-) imagine my little kulit ang nagturo sa lolo niya to play games in iphone

My Wedding Cake

It's September, it's my wedding anniversary month we are going 4 on the 19th. How time really flies, we have now our little kulit who is going 3 by next month, and we are still counting. 

Come and join me in reminiscing my memories in my wedding preparation and the big day.

I love cakes, yan din namana sakin ni Little Kulit, we have a little budget on our wedding so we have to maximize our budget but we need to assure na masarap and okay. My first choice was my friends mom to do my mini cakes and cup cake, two weeks or three weeks before the wedding when we have some issues sa delivery and set up. So ang ending I need to look for another supplier. I called so many suppliers for a quotation, some are so expensive, some cannot meet my expectations, and number one problem is the date they cannot accept my order since malapit na. Good thing one of the supplier agreed sa date kahit may naka line up na siya and as far as I remember may wedding din siya that time. We met at SM makati for the orders and sample. 

She sketch my cupcakes, mini cake and my wedding cake. I just told her that I my motif is royal blue and fuchsia pink.

 It's so yummy lasang lasa ang chocolate niya, hindi siya ganun katamis. The owner is Ms. Eddlyn is so nice to talk with, and she is so good. Most of our guests nagustuhan ang cake and cupcake  niya.

Little Kulit Kuwento

I'm always excited to go home, dami kasi story and sumbungan time ni Little Kulit and his grand parents

One night I was home by 9pm na, so ang dami na nila story

Scenario 1

Sam: I want pringles
Lola: Just eat 5 pieces only it's bad for you
Dahil nalibang ang lola sa NCIS after 30 minutes, she checked the pringles ayun kalahati na
Lola: Sam how many pringles did you eat
Sam: Two only (while smiling)

Mommy: Sam why mo inubos pringles lola
Sam: No, lola give dogs
Lola: Edit na naman story mo, binigay ko sa dogs kasi yung durog na lang tinira mo

Scenario 3
Little kulit is still sleeping, ate gloria asked if sama daw Sam sa farm, aba bigla nagising narinig magic word
Sam: I want Sama
Gloria: Iwan ka
Sam: No, i want bihis

Scenario 4
While eating lunch
Mommy: What do you like chicken or pork (testing lang he don't eat pork kasi)
Sam: Chicken na lang, bad pork

My Litte Kulit hits SM Southmall Big 3 Day Sale

I love SM sales, especially Southmall and MOA  branch, as in super sale sila. When I was still single diretso sa ladies wear and accessories now that I am a mom first and last stop kids section :-)

Original plan was to buy a black shoes for my little kulit and barong lang. I bought his black chicco shoes last December lang but now hindi na fit grabe bilis lumaki ng paa, he seldom use it pa naman. After 2 hours of fitting, looking for a design and looking around we paid at the counter na we ended up paying 5k. Ang nabili ko lang for myself is one maybeline foundation.

Here is our shopping loots; little kulit favorite shoes is either crocs or chicco. I told his daddy to choose shoes on sale yung 50 percent off but we ended up buying two shoes on a regular price with 10% discount only. After fitting his shoes ayun itinakbo na yung dalawang box like daw niya, itago ko nga rubber shoes for his birthday :-)
