It's my First Time Again

For seven years working here in my present job, I have nothing to complain when it comes to my benefits and to my superior. However, when we have a relocation from Sucat to Laguna and unexpected toll hike and fuel increase my travel expense become expensive. My everyday expense for toll fee  is Php 166 if I summed up for a month it will cost me Php 4316, gas and maintenance is still not counted. 

Last January when hubby and I talking if I can start looking for another job that is more accessible for me. At first I have hesitations, but I have to try it also if there is something new waiting for me :-).

After three times of re schedule of my interview one of the companies in Makati, finally we are able to set it on last Friday during Valentines day. 

It's my first time again to have a job interview after seven years :-) what do I expect.

I arrived 30 minutes early before the call time, I am now confident during interviews no more goose bumps graduate na ako dun :-), I am confident now in answering all their questions, aba in 14 years working siguro naman I know na what are my capabilities.

My interview went well it only last for 30 minutes, she even confident with me and she even told me that we are going to be a good partner, since the head of HR is not available at that time she told to wait for her call by this week. We even discussed the salary and benefits.

If you are going to ask me right now if I will accept the offer? my answer is still 50/50 :-)

I've been thinking for these issues;
  1. I am not comfortable working with a female boss
  2. Am I really ready to leave my post?
  3. Expect traffic for two years in Edsa and Magallanes

Hearts Day

How was your Valentines Day? I hope you had a wonderful time with your loved ones.

For me, I took a leave from work because I need to attend something important matter that can change my life for better :-) 

I woke up with these flowers and a sweet kiss from my dearest hubby

After lunch I am done with my appointment, I bring Little Kulit in one of the school for his assessment and at 3pm we sleep. 

We suppose to have a dinner date with my parents, but the traffic is so heavy, so we decided to stay at home and have a post valentines date on weekend. My mom cooked beef kalderata for us.

After dinner while watching basketball, we decided to have some picture picture time, super game na game si Little Kulit

Advance Valentines Gift for my lovely friends

For seven years, I develop good relationship with these two girls, they are my lovely friends here at the office, they are also my kumares.

Yesterday when I was in Festival Mall and saw this yummy pastillas flower, I decided to buy one for them. 

Since I'm quite busy, and naloloka because of my 500.00 nakalimutan ko to join them sa picture taking.

Office Shopping

One of my passion is to go to supermarket, I love shopwise. Most of the time lagpas budget.

Yesterday, I am so glad that I was able to shop in our office actually they deliver it sa table ko. 
 
First day in the morning my friend Cynthia handed me my 24 pieces double yolk egg. Super lakas namin sa egg that 24 pieces will last for a week sometimes less than pa, Little Kulit loves egg every meal niya may egg na kasama. 

 I asked Sensi sales rep to deliver my order sa office na din, I got four packs of double Xl diaper, and our Gardenia supplier I got 3 loaf of breads. 

Done with my grocery need for a week, actually pahabol na lang ito for discounted price since I had my grocery last weekend.

And by the way I just learned this morning I lost my Php 500.00, I don't know where kung somebody get it from my wallet, or hindi ako nasuklian. Hindi bale mmay kapalit yun

Is it time for a change 

2014 will be my 7th year in my present company, it's been too long. No regrets I am happy with my boss and my colleagues, but I have to think my finances since Little Kulit will be going to a formal school this June.

My expenses is growing, nasabayan pa ng new tax low which my increase in salary napunta lang sa taxes. imagine that I am paying more than 5k for tax.

January when I decided to update my resume and jobstreet. 

Am I ready for a new career change? New company? New boss?

Honestly, I am looking for a new job because I want to know what is my price worth now a days and I want to earn more. The good thing is during my phone interview when they asked what is my asking and I would answer them back and they will say we can give you more than that. Wow imagine I am already 30++ but I still have worth and I am always candidate for a shortlist. 

I have been working for 14 years already, and I have so many exposures, that is why I believe that I can compete with a fresh grad and to a more experience people.

Which career fits me?

Since January 25 after 3 days of jobstreet application I received numerous call if I want to have an interview. During my single days go ng go every invitation now I am more conscious I will ask them the following question first;

1.   For what position- at least hindi masayang pareho time namin. Some companies kasi iba naka  post advertisement iba sa actual.
2. What is your office schedule- I do not like to work during Saturdays
3. Is it for regular position- I need to secure my future
4. Salary and benefits- eto ang importante :-)

Oh diba straight na kung straight sayang ang toll and gas :-)

Last night, after watching one of the documentary film that touch my heart, it makes me realize what are the simple things that makes me happy.
